Meet the founder
Meet Craig Calvert, CMA, MBA.
Craig Calvert has served as chief financial officer for multiple companies. His experience includes helping companies grow and stepping into difficult situations to help struggling businesses stabilize and recover. He has sat in the seat, worked through the tradeoffs, and helped businesses use financial information to make real operating decisions.
Through Validated Financial, he brings that experience to businesses on a fractional basis. Craig holds a bachelor's in Finance and a Master of Business Administration in accounting, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Six Sigma Green Belt. The CMA credential is centered on the internal, forward-looking side of finance: planning, analysis, performance management, and decision support. That focus aligns directly with what owners need from a controller or fractional CFO—someone who can move beyond reporting what happened and help determine what should happen next.
